Graphite in cast iron becomes spherical shape by adding magnesium during casting.
In our laboratory, we will establish the know-how to visualize spherical graphite samples embedded in spheroidal graphite cast iron with a thickness of 10 μm using ultrahigh voltage electron microscope, and research to reveal the spheroidization phenomenon that has not been elucidated until now is going.
