We are trying to build an anthropomorphic violin-playing robot that can expressively perform musical pieces for establishing much better human-robot interaction and communication. We are also interested in locomotion, in particular, biped and four-legged locomotion, buoyancy control inspired by natural creatures. In addition, we are building tactile sensors using such soft materials as silicone rubber.
