Research theme
Our laboratory researches rotor dynamics, in particular the forced and self-excited vibration of blades and impellers of turbo-machinery. As most failure of turbo-mavinery is caused by balde vibration, it is essential to precisely predict the vibration characteristics of a blade at the design stage, in order to improve the reliability of turbo-machinery.
