For better prediction of responses by aquatic communities to environmental alterations, food habits, food-chains, migration patterns, and distributions of freshwater organisms (mainly fish) have been studied using novel techniques. Critical knowledge for developments of the novel techniques, including isotope and environmental DNA analyses, have been also provided. Both laboratory techniques and field works are involved.
