Research theme

My research focuses on effect of exercise on sedentary people and effect of psychology training on athletes. I conducted several intervention studies for older people and found that regular moderate intensity of exercise provided a lot of physical and psychological benefits. My findings support exercise guideline published by American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). Besides that, I have examined the psychological characteristics of elite athletes and developed the psychological skill training for athletes. Results from my research have applied to many athletes to enhance their peak performance. Especially, I worked with women’s volleyball team in London Olympic 2012 and Rio Olympic 2016 as a team psychologist and contribute to obtain a Bronze Medal. In short, in my research, even though I used different subjects, I collect data and testify the theories. Finally, knowledge from my research applies to practice.
