Peptide is a promising biomolecule that is (i) de novo designed to form secondary structures and self-assembled nanostructures and (ii) chemically synthesized for large-scale preparation, and (iii) shows biocompatible properties. We are focusing on peptide-based nanobiotechnology including organic-inorganic hybrid materials for regenerative medicine, noble metal recovery system for green process, drug delivery system for gene therapy, and metal oxide-based nanocatalysts for environmental cleaning.
