The target of our research is to realize photoresponsive molecular assembly systems which cooperatively photoisomerize and perform a macroscopic function, especially a biomimetic function. We have successfully fabricated photoresponsive biomimetic systems such as lotus effect of wetting, moth eye anti-reflection effect, and photosalient effect mimicking impatiens.
